Pros
There are expensive propane filters available, but the drops cost a few dollars each. Direct replacement, easy to replace regulator, pigtail hoses and main hose to trailer. Easy to install.
Cons
Newer style selector switch seems quite flimsy compared to the original. When changing tanks, it pushes propane out the side of the tank that’s supposed to be closed (as if the valve you switch back and forth is stuck) failed the first freeze. Went ou... Read More
Id recommend this item for warm climates only and suggest purchasing it from an authorized retailer. The guts are also cheap plastic. Do not buy this product.

After installation the gas would not bleed up to it and we discovered the valve on the propane tank was bad

After taking care of that and putting a tank on with a good valve the gas still would not bleed to the hot water tank
