Pros & Cons
Pros
The king groomer removes the dead undercoat without cutting any hairs. This tool is very valuable for stripping out the dead hair. This gets the mattes loose enough to comb out without upsetting our matted cats.
Cons
The hair becomes very dense and the comb does not cut through it. Her last years undercoat was already largely blown. She now has an indentation in her side from where we used this tool.
But it is useless on long haired cats. His hair is similar to angora. Not so great on collie length fur.
Highlights
Quality
Its also very well made the quality and design are super
Happy with the ease of use and effectiveness
She is clearly annoyed by the other rakes i have used
Thanks to the maker of this product
Price
After just a few passes with this rake i can see why the cost is justified
Competitiveness
Like this way more than a furminator
I was trying a furminator on my boy but this comb is much better for the type of fur my cavalier had
Have tried other dematting rakes but they are rough going through the fur
I say slight in that its enough to cut fur but you could run your tounge across it and never get cut

After it broke i wasn’t too keen on paying almost 40 bucks but i figured it’d be cheaper in the long run by getting one with a wood and metal handle rather than plastic and metal
