Pros

If you have a * or long haired dog, this is a must buy! Our dog is sometype of * mix that has 2-4 inch long hair. Been using a slicker and a bristle brush.

It grabs the dead hair so well our jack looks like he's been to the groomer each time we use it! My guy tolerates it just fine and his coat and itching is better when i use it frequently. It takes grooming to a whole new level.

Goldens and 1 bernese who have undercoats. My groomer swears by this for deshedding the undercoat on terriers. It is like undercoat be gone lol.

Cons

This is an expensive grooming product that merits greater customer support and a return policy. While it says it strips undercoat and removes dead hairs, it doesn't say it cuts hair. The hair becomes very dense and the comb does not cut through it.

Easy to handle and the curved blades ensure no harm is done to their skin

Removes lose undercoat easily did not bother my dog at all while using the product and no abrasions to skin

I’m not even finished with her entire coat and there is already a ton of her undercoat that has been removed

Worth every penny and my dog sheds so much less after a good go with it

Ive spent a ton of money trying to find a solution

I had an inexpensive rake i had bought for my german “shedders” and it broke after about 6 months of using it

After just a few passes with this rake i can see why the cost is justified

Competitiveness

I’ve tried all the gimmick the furminator for instance and this is far and away better

He doesn’t mind at all comparing to using others

I’ve used so many other rakes and dog items and this doesn’t compare to anything i’ve purchased before
