Pros

The color of the weighted blanket is a charcoal/light grey, very nice fabric. This blanket is kind of a substitute for the drape, but it has to be doubled over to make it approximate the weight.

Getting it on and off the blanket is quite the feat. It feels like high quality and sturdy. I wish they had already put the outer cover on it since it was a bit of a chore to do it.

The easiest way to fasten the blanket to the duvet cover is listed in four part instruction. The duvet is soft and attractive. I honestly believe that it was due to my comforter being too light.

Cons

Think of it like a childs security blanket rather than a decorative comforter. The cotton of the base blanket is a much thinner fabric and not a very high quality of cotton.

This is the most expensive blanket ive ever owned

Well this weighted blanket and cover is one of the cheapest prices i have ever seen

I think the one thing for me if i was deciding to purchase or not would be the cost

The blanket arrived in a nice package and in two pieces the actual weighted blanket and the cover

Competitiveness

This was my first time trying a weighted blanket so i dont have other brands to compare it to

For me the 12 would have been better but i didnt have a choice
