Pros

Silver-streak makes a nice sharp line that is easily visible through a welding helmet. Perfect for marking steel. Easy to see while welding.

It's slightly less visible than soap stone, but out beats the competition when marking on oily steel. Works great on dark or rusty metal, whisk i mostly work with, but not good for new or shiny metal.
