Pros
The ratchet-style buckle is very adjustable. The black buckle has a strong curl in towards the black side. The buckle grips the sides of the belt, allowing easy-on, easy-off usage.
The materials and craftsmanship appear to be of good quality. The instructions on custom fitting are excellent.
This belt is really elegant and easy to customize. Cut it to length and looks great. Very sleek piece, easy to cut and readjust.
The only negative here is the packaging. Got these for my hubby for christmas. Two packs are always great as well!
Cons
The material used feels like cardboard and i haven't even used it and it shows wear wrinkles and holds a weird bend in the belt. Pity, great idea just poor materials. Unusable for me.

My confusion was in how to open the buckle to release the leather

Theres a little opening on the belt side that i thought was where you would use a tool to lever it open and unfortunately it didnt say anything in the instructions about how to do it

You have to cut it to length but that does not affect the appearance of the belt at all

Even with directions i initially could not get the clip open to remove the belt to cut it to size

The only negative other than how difficult it was to the clamp open is that the part of the belt hanging off conforms to your body so when you reverse the belt the belt is curved opposite of your body and sticks out
