I use it in my penguin 100 and it works amazing! Works great and the price is right. Saves a bunch of money to do this instead of mainstream filter.
It lasts a very long time and is an excellent mechanical filter that gets rid of particles in the tank water that causes cloudiness. This is eel worth the price. They are nice because you can maneuver them to where you need them.
Cons
After 3 days my tank was completely cycled in with no nitrite or ammonia. It appears as though this filter is not conducive to biocultures. This product itself is not strong enough to work as a bio-filter.

Ps if you want to dampen the strong flow out of an hob like the penguin 100 just cut out a small piece that fits the area where water flows out and use a rubber band to secure it
