Do not use the red color code instead always use voltohm meter to verify polarity and integrity of your assembly and wiring

I used this on livewell aerator converting the alligator clambs to a 12volt plug so i could just plug it in to 12volt dc power outlet

My concern when wiring the plug was where the soldered wire from the positive contact goes to led indicator

It crosses over the ground contact and there is a sleeve to prevent shorting the two
