    As others have stated the instructions say one way to connect the wiring and the big red paint spot which usually means the positive contact goes here says something completely different

    My concern when wiring the plug was where the soldered wire from the positive contact goes to led indicator

    It crosses over the ground contact and there is a sleeve to prevent shorting the two
