As others have said its not going to be fully waterproof although splashproof

My concern when wiring the plug was where the soldered wire from the positive contact goes to led indicator

It crosses over the ground contact and there is a sleeve to prevent shorting the two

For cigarette plugs the positive is always the center contact not the sides

Finally the plug will work with standard cigarette sockets but the weather seal ring means you might need to give it a firm push to make contact
