It seems to be within two degrees of actual and is legible from across a big room. The temperature is accurate as it matches my small outdoor thermometer. Very happy with the thermometer and recommend it to anyone.
New one work great. Arrived well packaged, and promptly. Easy to read from a distance.
Cons
Have tried to reset to no avail. Still awaiting my refund.
How hard is it to get a properly calibrated thermometer? Only goes from 61-70 - there's no interference to the spring or indicator - it's just *.

Mine might have been perfect but i dropped it when i thought it caught the screw head and it didnt

If yours is consistently wrong by a couple degrees you can rotate the round middle section on the backside by a couple clicks and it will be correct from then on
