As far as being a workhorse, it is ready for the long haul. Still, it never gets too warm, and so i have no complaints about that. It carries a 3 year warranty for parts and labor.

Does not function out of box. Telephone support from marantz is exceedingly poor. Don't waste your money.

I bought this unit to go with the marantz av7005 preampprocessor and it all sounds wonderful
