I bought it for my 4 year old daughter she frequently write and colour with pencils this pencil sharpener fit her purpose as she is using both standard and thick size pencilsit’s quite easy to learn even she never used a pencil sharpener beforeat first i though she’s too inexperienced so the pencil tip shaved was very coarsebut later i found it was the sharpener itself not sure it’s the blade or the design the pencil tip shaved was not very smooth and easy to break when first use also noticed also the pencil shaft is very roughly shaved so i believe it should be the blade not sharp enough to shave the pencil smoothlyanyway
