Reality is ill only use it when driving and have so far recorded a couple of trips quality is great sound not so good as when in the waterproof case clearly the mic is covered

There is no connection for an external mic either so beware you will need to record any engine sound or voice separately if this is important to youyour video

I found when i used the mac to initialiseformat the sd it would cause problems with new recordings overwriting previous recordings
