Pros & Cons
Pros
The hunting gloves are warm and i can operate the controls on my nikon 610, d7000 and my canon 70d without taking off the gloves. I am upwards of 50; and as such, my circulation causes me to get colder hands and feet than the 20-something folks who i ... Read More
Ordered extra large but fit snuggly (6ft/180lbs male). The part that covers my fingers are kind of large, or roomy but they still work great. As far as sizing, he has average size hands and the large fits him perfectly. Having a hole for the thumb is ... Read More
They're fairly warm (but when mountaineering i still need a windproof/waterproof shell over them) fleece is nice and soft. The padding is very thick and provide excellent insulation.
The magnets to hold the mitten part back when not in use is the icing on the cake. The only downside is that the tether that leashes them together is flimsy and pulls off easily.
Cons
After less than 3 weeks using these gloves the lid of the right glove starts detaching. The fingers are so tight that they cut off the circulation to my fingertips. If you take it off, it just flops around.
Highlights
Quality
To compare the all wool with the thinsulate lined pair i would wear them simultaneously one of each hand
The quality of the build of these gloves is also impressive
Prosthe glove label states it is a manzella cascade convertible convertible fleece glove with the designation warmest in ml size
With the mitten ends folded over the fingers i didnt mind the unusual fit as much though it was still noticeable
Price
Overall these gloves are totally worth the price
Competitiveness
I use my thinsulate hunting gloves and a lighter weight glove made for bike riders
Consthe fit is a bit odd i normally take a large to xlarge
The other pairs were an all wool pair fox river that i bought and later returned and a pair of thinsulate lined wool pair that ... Read More
My experiences were on evening walks in 40°f

In regards to the sewn tips of the fingers i can see what other reviewers are referring to with the thickness being a bother
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The wrists are too loose allowing cold air to sneak up the gloves as well

Unfortunately im having to return these gloves because i was overly optimistic they would fit my hands as a woman
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The finger length was good but far too wide for my hands
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Only size medium and up was offered so who knows if size small would have been better

The listing claims they also come in womens but manzella does not actually have them listed as stated
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
In fact manzella offers twice as many gloves for men than they do for women
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Im lowering the ratings based on the finger tip and wrist design not because of the fit
