They're fairly warm (but when mountaineering i still need a windproof/waterproof shell over them) fleece is nice and soft. The padding is very thick and provide excellent insulation.
The magnets to hold the mitten part back when not in use is the icing on the cake. The only downside is that the tether that leashes them together is flimsy and pulls off easily.
Cons
After less than 3 weeks using these gloves the lid of the right glove starts detaching. The fingers are so tight that they cut off the circulation to my fingertips. If you take it off, it just flops around.

To compare the all wool with the thinsulate lined pair i would wear them simultaneously one of each hand
I was happy with the pair and wore several years
I’ve not found this quality in women’s sizes and i’ve not found these in men’s small
The magnets dont interfere with the gps signals so the location is ok but direction is off
Price
The price is unbeatable thats why youll realize that these are the best gloves that you never knew you needed

Its better than velcro because the stitching on most velcro isnt very good and it comes apart after a year or 2

The sewn ring at the tips of the fingers where the fingers come out of the holes are too tight it slightly restricts my circulation and i have skinny fingers
