Out of the box the edge didnt feel awfully sharp so i ran it through a hone a few times to turn it into a razor
Overall this knife is a beautiful piece of work and should cut well over a long period of time
I bought this for a gift so i havent actually used it
Pseudodamascus but are up to 3 times more expensive so i think this manve knife is a good deal
