Pros
Holds quite a few knives, both long & short blades—about 8 in each section. The pare knives are in the smaller section and longer knives in the larger.
The bamboo gizmo takes up less counter space and all of my knives fit! It looks aesthetically pleasing too. The 2 tiers make it perfect for smaller and larger knives and not crowed. The bamboo construction looks great with my maple cabinets.
The * makes it perfect to put under the cupboard without hindering the removal. Best of all the black stick inside are perfect for just dropping the knives in.
Cons
Made with flimsy material that bent/ broke the first time a knife was put into the block. Epic fail.

Sure those slots let you sort of track what goes where but in the big scheme of things the days of 34crap i need another slot34 or 34this just wont fit34 are gone

And because of the sharp knives said fibers house the cheap fibers break down quickly leaving your knives to kind of lean drunkenly in the block
