I dont use the bag it came with because it doesnt fit any of the other things i need for my yoga classes waterbottle towel ankleweights dumbbells but the carryingstrap is ok

The design does seem to be inconsistent it kind of angles off if an odd way but i suppose that could be the intended design

It is far less slippery than cheaper mats especially when dry but its surface isnt completely nonslip when in contact with too much sweat
