Still not the quietest fan out there but not that loud really. Works great and quieter than expected. The only possible downside is that the manrose 12v transformer is expensive.
Replaces old manrose fan that packed up after nearly 20 years. Replaced original and is quieter, more powerful and was easy to re-install. One point to note, however, is that the instructions supplied with the fan give an incorrect wiring diagram.

Still thats the price you pay for safety in a wet environment i guess
So for me top marks on price being quiet and arriving on time

Adjusting the timer in the loft was a bit of a faff because no graduations on the potentiometer

If you are after a near silent fan then this is not really for you

This fan was to replace an older version which had become very noisy

This is why the timer on the transformer already installed wasnt working

Ive now fixed this and the existing timer is now working fine and the intended replacement transformer sent back to amazon

Think id go for a better quality unit on a new install alas its very difficult to find comparisons or even any choice in this type of fan
