I have 2 10 lbs packages and i will be testing them for 1 star reported issuesupdate may 11 2023okay the 1st 10 lbs was put in a deep freezer after i got it and remain there unless needed at around 8fi just opened the second box and i think that box has been sitting there unopened for a couple months now and i see no problems with ittoday is the end of the first 24 hours of having italian bees and those bees r happy in there new hive😎in 2 days i will check and see if the queen bee was freed from her small queen box and then i will add a super on top with just the queen stop plastic screen and i will pull another bee pollen patty from the box and place it in the super🤔the with before and after pics and in progress pics of the bees and this bee pollen patty🙄lastly in pictures i will explain exactly everything the bees have around their hive and we will see what we will seeokay check back in a couple weeks for the update okay 🙂update may 15 2023as u can see i have placed the bee pollen patty in the super and i left the wax paper on the bottom as to encourage the bees to be on the top of the bee pollen patty😌i see no issues with the previous bee pollen patty in a sealed plastic container and this second bee pollen patty placed in the bee super 🤔so i am thinking 🤔 the 1 star complaints about something coming out of the bee pollen patty is not accurate 😳please check back in a couple weeks okay 🙄 for the next updateupdate may 22 2023i see no worms as being flagged by one or more one star reviews inside the super or inside the plastic air tight container🙂it appears the bees like this stuff so i ordered a feeder wooden insert with a metal mess bottom to place below the super😌i do see 2 bees made the mistake of landing on top of the bee pollen patty and past away there 😳i folded the bee pollen patty and moved it towards the front as laying down a whole patty is blocking the air flow id like to see inside the bee hive 😎update may 30 2023the larvae is id as greater or lessor wax moths larvae 😲 and it craws in thru the side of the bee hive and the max moth is id as a contaminater of the bee hive and the bee keeper must remove them upon sight as it is unknown if the bees will remove them 😲update june 1 2023in the event u do discover wax moth larvae pull the bee pollen patty from the bee hive and freeze it for a while 🤔
