Pros & Cons
Pros
Manhasset stands are the only ones i use. This puts it in the perfect position to read your music straight ahead. With a clip on light it does what i need. It works perfectly.
This is a rigid clamp-on music stand holder that still remains very flexible in how it is setup. To ride cymbal stands, drum rack, or another manhasset stand as a percussion tray.
Highlights
Quality
I am pleased with the music stand
Manhasset always builds with quality in mind and that hasnt changed
While this is advertised to connect to your hi hat i have it hooked up to my single tom holder with the curved part going over my bass drum
Chances are most drummers do not employ this technique and therefore would be fine with this product
Competitiveness
It exceeded my expectations especially for the price

It is bulky so i used a flat based hihat instead of a twoleg stand

First i thought i was ordering a goose neck music stand holder but now glad it was not

I also have a fused neck that is irritated by having the music stand by my hi hat

When playing jazz time on the hihat its a very standard thing to click the hi hat stand with the free hand
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
If you try to do that with this product the tightened clamp takes away the resonance of the stand and makes for a pretty undesirable sound

However if you play jazz you probably employ this technique and may want to consider this drawback
