Pros
The manfrotto 013 is one of many adapters i keep in my studio to help make diverse pieces of gear work together. The 013 also has 1/4 and 3/8 screws for adding a cold shoe, arca clamp or small ball head. All in all a handy and well made adapter.

Ive recently bought some product that included similar double ended studs like the manfrotto and ended up using chasers on then because the threads were unusable

I would rather spend a couple of extra dollars and have the product work correctly and after all how difficult can it be to use the correct dies or use ones that arent worn out
