Its reasonable thickness stainless steel but its not 304 it will hold a magnet so its probably 301 or 415

The corners are not welded they are just open

The only negative is that they welds around the edges were all the way to the corners on my box so i couldnt soak the wood chips in this box but i dont think it was designed for that purpose so i didnt deduct a star
