Pros & Cons
Pros
Keep track of the names. In this genre, it's hard to get away from that. There is a lot of lore, but i didn't find it overly complex.
The story flows fairly quickly and very fluidly! The ending is fast paced, with lots of action and surprises. The overarching plot is nothing revolutionary but it is well-thought-out and well-executed.

The pacing is just all off. There's no buildup of the plot. It's smooth, although painfully slow, and is logical. The whole reads as rather an muddled mess.
Malice possesses none of the originality, delightful characterization, nor even the real evil of the bad guys of westeros. Two good characters camlin and gar get maybe two chapters and gar doesn't even get that.

I was intending to continue reading but since all major plot points have been revealed wiping away all excitement and tension this series holds nothing more for me
