The xpt02 is for those of us regular people that don't want to lug around an impact driver and drill and have a reasonably sized case. Milwaukee and dewalt have some initial offerings. Next-generation tools from the oem companies are coming.

Drilling 1” holes with a spade or auger bit in a wall stud plastic and driving 3” screws into pt wood are no problem


This tool wasnt made to replace your contractor grade hammer drill or your 1234 high torque impact driver


Sure they advertise a ‘self tapping’ mode its intended purpose is sheet metal and will not work with my stated assembly of the kitchen
