Pros

Only negative issue is that the sub-base plate opening is small. I have a small cnc router table (17 x 17 x 3) that had a dremel advantage on it. It took some work to get it set up on the bench dog router table--since this is otherwise the ideal route...  Read More

The powerful 2 1/4 hp motor is very strong,so hold on tight when you have the rpms set high. It runs quite smoothly. This router gets run hard and cuts through some big jobs with ease.

Competitiveness

Its a wellmade sturdy tool affordably priced

I have it mounted under a kreg table with a lift

So i bought a makita at a higher than average price and ended up having to buy a 24 base plate with a 2

It costs a few bucks more than competitors but replacing a single bearing on popular routers is over 100
