Best introductory book on screenwriting i have read so far. The chapters on subplots and scenes really help. This is a book that every screenwriter should have on their shelf.

Linda seger helps writers analyze their screenplay. Seger believes that diolog can be just as important in film as any other element as long as it is kept within a certian limit.

Linda discusses common mistakes and remedies them. The only complaint i have--which is a very minor one--is that sometimes she puts things in a different order than i would. Linda seger's book is simply brilliant.
