The software support is lacking but there is software around to use the ssd1306 i2cbased oled in espidf if you look around

I had it up and running quite quickly with open source libraries assuming you are familiar with arduino development and i had it connecting to a mobile phone hotspot posting http requests to a cloud service in no time at all

Oled display and temperature sensor but there was always a conflict that meant one of the parts didnt work

In the end i had to fork out over £40 for a uno rev 3 wifi and that still didnt work as intended i needed this unit to act as an access point

The only problem i did find was that the board would not flash while it had the thermocouple breakout powered up so i will have to put a jumper on the final circuit to enable updates to the software

Once the flash is done its fine so there must be a conflict related to the serial bus in the programming state
