Pros
Mail boss mailbox and spreader bar are compatible with this post. Holds up my same brand locking mailbox. Throughout the years my mailbox and post have been assaulted by excessive snowplow loads and finally being washed away by tropical storm ida.
Post seems strong and sturdy. They go hand in hand to increase the sturdiness and longevity. Looks great and very sturdy.
Great item. Good instructions. Nice coating. This is really nice and super thick!
Cons
The coating on the mailbox and post is pathetic at best. Either the steel is not what they say or their coating is not done well. Seems they have a gorilla working at the factory tightening the bolts down till they simply strip out, then they send it ... Read More

I ordered the oasis architectual mailbox with this post and the reason it lost star i they dont bolt up together without drilling holes so trying to avoid their predrilled holes i didnt get it centered exactly

After i had all my measurements i would have been left with only 8 of post in the ground

Although its designed to be installed over a 4x4 post the post is only required if you want it installed deeper than 1012 into grade
