If the scarf is too short by the time you tie it around your neck there is no visible scarf or color left

You just have to be careful of the lightweight silk and chiffon scarves because this will slip although i will add the holes are on the small side compared to other slides so there is less of a problem with this slide

Nice scarf ring but it was too heavy and too large for the scarf for which i bought it

Its easy to put both ends of my square lightweight scarf through the top hole then one end through each of the remaining two holes

The scarf stays in place and drapes better using this ring instead of being tied in a knot
