Tuning rather slippy at first although this is soon resloved by playing the instrument so dont be disheartened by this

The stringing and tuning are the same as the first four strings of a guitar low dgbe so you wont have to learn new fingering for chords and you have only four strings to contend with not six

When the ukulele arrived the top two strings d and g were wound and so unsuitable for retuning

I suspect that the friction tuners mentioned in some of the earlier reviews are for an earlier model
