Pros & Cons
Pros
Magswitches are great for woodworking * because most machinery has cast iron tops. I use them to hold down several different * on my tablesaw and they have never budged once. Using them in a * is bore a hole and install 2 screws.
Magnetic hold is incredibly strong, making it perfect for securing materials in place. Just goes to show you that the laws of physics are beyond our mortal attempts at repeal!
Cons
The magnet strength is about 25 percent of what they said it would be. They are weak giving it sideways pressure. If the * ands up over the t-slot, you're out of luck.
