Pros
This one is far superior. Well worth the price. You won't be dissapointed. After being disappointed at first. Works fine.
The case keeps the lens from getting smudged or scratched. It fits right into my back pocket so i can keep it on me at all times wen i'm at work. I love the slip cover that came with it w/ velcro closure.
There is a removable cover that is where the led's are. I use energizer lithium batteries because they will last many years, they don't leak, and i won't have to worry about opening the battery case anytime soon. The only down size is it is hard to sl... Read More
Cons
I have no problem opening the case and inserting or removing batteries, but this one issue is a real bummer. Will be returning magnifier for refund.

I solved that by prying off the cap on the side without the light switch

Underneath is a small screwtighten it with an eyeglass screwdriver put just a very small bit of glue on the sides and replace the cap
