I buy several of this cables and i only have 2 issues in 2 years, one of the adapters was broken and other cable stop working after a few months.

The usb c was a little loose in my pixel xl but it's 2 years old and i've had other cables fall out so i think it's the phone.

I leave the adapter bit in my phone and ipad as this stops dirt getting in and they just clip on magnetically.

The cord slips pretty easily out of the the adapter.
