I havent had to use the screws yet although my adult kids have tried to forcefully open the drawers without using the unlocking tool

What i did with ours is i screwed them on the cabinets instead of rellying on just the adhesive tapes

The only recommendation i have is to use small nails or screws on the smaller part of the latch the adhesive wasn’t very sticky
