I tried using multiple pens so im pretty sure its the surface that has the issue not the pens

I like that its magnetic and how compact it is compared to other dryerase chore charts but i was disappointed in the quality for the price i paid

The pink doesnt wipe clean and leaves a shadow wherever you write and the ink bubbles on the blue surface so that the writing look messy
