Pros

Speakers are good, very portable, good for an emergency radio and has good reception. The sound is not tinny like the cheapo radios. Since it was the only one of it's type, that making me willing to overlook some of its * quirks.

You have to have it to navigate mp3 media. Has a plug for a head set and your mp3 player. It performs as represented in every way.

Cons

The mdvd500 can only be used with cds. It gets to the point of 'reading usb', then hangs. Tuning the radio was not an easy feat with the small tuning knobs. Sound still isn't good, so it isn't the microphone.

It was used very little. Who has the money to just replace this kind of thing after 6months. After merely 3 1/2 months of usage it is a waste of time and money.

After 48 hrs did get technical support simple as clicking a switch to the on position at rear of player

You need to simply turn the knob as far as it will go to get dvds and cds to work not all the way to dvd which is impossible anyway
