It is flimsy and does not scan any kind of picture or slide with any quality. There is no holder/support for the photos, so if they are curved or have bent corners, there is nothing to hold them down so the quality of your jpg is poor.

The problem with scanning images is how they get loaded into the machine

There is a bottom plate that comes off far too easily the image is then laid into the tray section of this plate

There are incremental lines which help to align the image but there is nothing to hold the image in place and it moves quite easily when placing the scanner back on top of the plate
