The mag is one of the best you can buy at such an affordable price. It truly makes having the flashlight more accessible. They are rugged, dependable, and the price isn't that much higher than the low-cost knock-offs.

Several maglite flashlights are advertised as incandescent, but are xenon. Limens is half the brightness of your phone’s flashlight. Uses expensive d batteries very fast making the value even less.
