All i had to do was include the area code for my landline phone number & it always works fine. Using magicjack plus with at&t uverse 12mb broadband, panasonic kx-tg7622 cordless phones, netgear router for wired and wireless broadband.
Magicjack is a good product with limitations. Do the math. The magic jack plus is fantastic! For another 10.
Cons
Once they have your money you are mince meat. All that matters is their gestapo law in section 30, item 299438885774 of their penal code.
Magicjack has been in a landfill for 9 years. When i tried to get a refund, i was told no refund. They told me it is a very old unit and no longer supported. They did not replace my device nor replace my contacts.
Magicjack is the worst voip provider i have experienced. Poor sound quality, lot's of buzzing and so called white noise.
Magicjack charges $10 for porting your number in and $30 for renewal. Company charges 1 cent per minute when you dial us numbers. Company also charges $8 for administration, taxes, and other fees.
