A lot of other cords i use including the genuine samsung cord that came with the phone no longer fit and fell out of the phone

It is also good for family road trips kids and other family members can charge their phone and still watch a movie together or pass it back and forth to play a game or view photos

One weird thing and this might be the usb adapter we have plugged into the wall and not the cords but the ps4 does not recognize that the controllers are being charged
