Pros

The 10 tray unit is the best value. It takes up little counter space and is esthetic pleasing in stainless steel.

The 48 hour timer is nice. It comes with silicone hot pads but if you waita minute it's not too hot anyhow.

New to dehydrating (been canning) i find myself looking around to see what i dehydrate next. A couple times to dehydrate seasoned cherry tomatoes. Looking forward to making apple and banana chips.

I dislike the fact that the only way i can communicate with the mfg is through this process. Now it's completly useless. Returning and will buy an excalibur instead.

Checked the gfi outlet. Reset it. Moved it to a non-gfi outlet, nothing. Googling it appears that it’s likely a fuse blew. The only way is to use their troubleshoot website.

This was a great value for what you get

The value for the money in this unit keeps me happy especially with the 48 hour timer and extra accessories

I managed to get it on sale for about 70 off

I feel this was worth what i paid for it

Shipping

It arrived just when it said it would

I dont know if shipping company done this or if they just never caught the broke piece

Packaging/appearance

The dehydrator was packed very well in its own box

It was well packaged and in two boxes for protection

Then it was packed in a very large box

Thats ok but there was no packing to keep the dehydrator from shifting

Competitiveness

I have used different brand dehydrators and this one so far is working just as good as the big name brands

Higher quality than most of what you find on amazon this is my second one and they both work great

I tried other brands and it was not as good thinner material marginal quality and no insulation

All extra trays from other brands fit
