Magic mill mfd-7070 dehydrator (7tray) works flawlessly for beef jerky. Food dehydrates evenly without having to move the racks around. Great quality, fast dehydration.
It looks great, it is unbelievably quiet and very easy to operate. Great quality machine lasts longer. It is quieter than i thought it would be.
It has a great glass door with silicone grips to take trays out. The stainless steel racks are heavy duty. When i went to cut parchment for my stainless steel tray it fit the height dimensions perfectly of my parchment paper roll.
Thermal fuses are designed to prevent overheating. If it trips you can go to the magic mill web site and order the thermal fuse. One oddity is when you plug it into the ac outlet it shows all 8's on the display until you push any button then it displa... Read More
Cons
Took 2 cycles each of 13 + hours to dehydrate basil. This is a one time use fuse and will not reset if it goes.
Only one mesh insert works. Waiting to get my refund now.

Be careful of the time that you set on the timer
