Pros & Cons
Pros
It's great for confounding children and adults alike. Nice brushed finish. This scientific curiosity needs to be seen to be believed.
A rattleback top that likes to spin anti-clockwise. It's a realistic and dramatic motion that can be easily exploited.
The harder and smoother the spinning surface is, the better it works. Works best on a hard smooth surface, especially glass or a polished stone counter.
Seems to be stainless steel. It feels sturdy, heavy and well-built.
Cons
It has a very large scratch right on the top.
Highlights
Quality
The weight of the metal presents well and enables it to spin for a long time on a flat surface
This is very cool and well made
I dont know what its made of the description says metal alloy so i assume its not aluminum or something
Some other reviewers say this is steel but it is very lightweight and nonmagnetic so i suspect it is aluminum
Price
A great value for an educational toy
Not cheap but you get what you pay for
Packaging/appearance
He was amazed to receive one this beautiful and smooth
