Packaging/appearance
In fact - i even kind of like the simplicity of the packaging for re-usability.
The packaging of the dvd and card decks did not make it suitable for a quick wrap it up type of gift, being in a ziplock bag.
Well - first impressions are not everything and once you get into the content the packaging will make no difference.
My first impression was that they could use a little work on the packaging.

It came with a dvd in a nice case but it and the three decks were then just placed in a large ziploc type bag

I used to be a magicians assistant and did learn some of the tricks however he did not do as many card tricks
