The film is quite thick, and the size is perfect for my window above the stairs. When I was applying it, it sticked quite easily to the window pane, since I sprayed a lot of water on it. The film creates a rainbow color effect on the wall behind it. What I don't like about it is that the film is not opaque enough, so you can actually see clearly the silhouette of the people on the other side. Because it's thick, it's not easy to cut when you realize it's too big for the window pane. This film is not for privacy - it's more for decoration.  Read Less
