Pros & Cons

Pros

This adapter lets you use 52-mm filters on the d3200. It also allows you to use the polarizer, lens hood and close-up lenses.

All in all i like that it attaches solidly. I'm not sure why others are finding the magnet weak.

The magnet is strong enough to hold the filter holder. It is easy to just swap filters without unscrewing. My only complaint is that for a filter you rotate such as an nd or cp, sometimes the magnetic adaptor rotates instead of just the filter.

Feels sturdy. Work fantastic and gets right up close. Very cool.

Fits perfectly well to my sony rx100 vii. Installed easily on my sony dsc-rx100 m7. Allows me to quickly put on a polarizing filter when needed. Works great with my rx100vii.

Cons

Great concept, poor execution. Ended up ruining this adapter and the cp. Will be returning for refund.

The magnet on the ring that attaches to the sony rx100 vii is not strong enough.

The one con - with the 55mm size magfilter, i get very annoying vignetting when taking photos at 24mm.

Just what i was hoping, it indeed works with the sony zv1.

Packaging/appearance

I’m just using an nd filter to supplement the internal nd of the zv-1.

Competitiveness

If you have one of these sony rx100 cameras, you will not be disappointed with using this system.

All the old gear i bought for my nikkormat el works well with my d3200.

I like to use a 49mm black proo mist filter on my camera and this adapter supports it perfectly.

I bought the 52mm one for a canon g9x mk2 and the adhesive metal ring was too big.

Little case is somewhat useless since it can only carry the adapter ring

So i have to grab the base while twisting the filter to keep it from slipping on the camera

The same would happen with a polarizing filter

I prefer it over the current one i have which requires adhering a large piece of metal permanently defeating yhe purpose of a compact camera

I’ve not seen any vignetting in either photo or video mode but i have active stab on which crops in a bit
