Dont let any water sit on it too long or it will caused the whole board to bend

Even a moist towel to hold your cutting board in place will cause it to bend toward the towel but after thoroughly drying it it should bend back in place if properly conditioned

I oil using plain mineral oil from the pharmacy which you can get from cvs or riteaid for like 5 or 6
