Pros

The foam is springy yet firm. The fabric is firm but not too stretchy. The color pattern actually matches my decor.

These are great, lightweight stairs for older arthritic chihuahuas. We have a 7lb schnoodle that used the steps as soon as we scooted them up to the bed. My yorkie loves these steps!

Cons

Amazon needs to discontinue letting them sell on their site. The savings between the smoother and textured isn't worth the hassle of return etc.

There is nothing that grips the stairs to the floor. May be better on carpet but certainly not on hardwood floors. The stair's are not 6 inches deep. The carpet on them isn't fully attached either.

These stairs are way too narrow and small for even my 12lb tiny terrier chihuahua mix. I have a 90 pound pit/mastiff with hip dysplasia and these stairs are a hazard for him. For an older dog, the textured (corduroy like) is much, much better for the ... Read More

Had to use a bungee cord secure it to the mattress frame. The thing is like a pillow, it just squishes down.
